Introducing your host
Richard has a thriving therapy practice in the UK. His interests range from the more obvious psychology, philosophy, and anthropology to art history, music from across the musical spectrum, exploring new places, good film, and zombies. Yes, zombies. Oh, and real people too. Richard is definitely a people person. Richard also makes music under the name Mystery Free Child and some people even like some of it. He also enjoys a good party once in a while.
Alas, it hasn’t always been this good. Richard’s early adulthood was blighted by complex PTSD, before M.E./CFS tore down the new life that he built afterwards. In lighter moments Richard speculates on just how terrible he must have been in a previous life.
Richard knows a thing or two about rising like a phoenix, and so here we are today. Although life has been at times challenging, it’s motivated Richard to ask what we all need to live rewarding lives and to share his discoveries with you and the world.
As the saying goes, the crack is where the light gets in – and it looks like it’s gonna be a bright sunshiny day!
